    Description

    1035: A No. 3 Diamond double longspring animal trap with original chain and strong springs; I'm not sure but believe the jaws are cast iron. The trap was originally produced during the early 1900s by Norwich Wire Works, Norwich, New York. Total length of the trap is about 17 inches, and the jaws when open measure approximately 5 1/2 to 6 inches wide. The 2 1/2 inch-diameter pan has clearly stamped lettering indicating "Diamond Brand" at the top, "No. 3 Longspring" and "Made by Norwich Wire Wks, Norwich, N.Y." Photographs show the specifics of a very nice trap that will be an excellent addition to your collection or as a decorative piece for your cabin or home.
