1928 Steel Michigan Trapping tag

1928 Steel Michigan Trapping Tag.  Shipped with USPS First Class Mail.
Nice  In the early 1920's they were trying to get a wolf population in the UP as there were no
wolves up there.  I think by 1928 they issued a tag for there first season up there to get a
idea of how many wolves were up there.  I found about the wolf population in a County Board
meeting minutes and I am just assuming that is what it was for.  I have only found these tags
in northern MI and in Northern WI.  I could be wrong, if anyone knows more about this I  would
like to see what they found in the history of this tag.  Have 1 more and 1 that is rusted bad as they
are steel tags.
