    sign from the USDA Bureau of Biological Survey, predecessor to the US Fish and Wildlife Service
    [formed 1939] -- this is printed on cloth and dates to before 1939 -- it is a warning not to tamper with poison bait traps set for wolves and coyotes and 'other predatory animals' in the vicinity of the sign: bear, wolf, coyote and cougar -- I got this years ago from the estate of an old county trapper over in the east Linn County area --
