For your bidding consideration today, from a local estate auction of a long time shoe collector, we have a pair of antique Edwardian button up boots or shoes. These are made of black velvet, with a stacked leather heel. They button on the sides and all buttons are present on both shoes. There is an interior label that states THE FASCINATOR LINE TRADEMARK NEWBURYPORT SHOE MFG CO. The shoes are in good used antique condition, with a couple of issues to mention. There is a line on the inside area of the right shoe near the heel, where is appears that the velvet is missing, you can see this in the last picture. Also, the reinforcement leather backing the button holes appears to be shredded, you can see this in the pictures of the tops of the shoes. Still a nice looking pair, and in a larger wearable size, there was a note inside saying that these would fit a size 8, but please refer to the measurements.  When placed up against a wall, and measured from where the heel of your foot would sit, they are 9 3/4” long, the width of the sole at the widest part is 3 1/8”. We will be adding more from the same auction shortly.
