The Oneida Company Ltd. is what arose as a joint stock venture out of the dissolution of the original Oneida Shaker Community in 1881. By WWI the company had expanded into a whole line of different products. This early rat trap was made at the turn of the century, a slab of oak, and a spring trap that'll break your fingers if you get caught in it for sure! Rare and original, much earlier than the later Hold Fast traps you find on Ebay.
