The Brian’s GNETIK Pure goalie leg pads a based off Brian’s successful GNETIK 8.0 design with some cool changes that reflect customer feedback. Using Brian’s design, the GNETIK Pure leg pads start with a lace-less flat faced front which will provide consistent, predicable, lively rebounds. The GNETIK Pure goalie pads also carry over the synthetic knee cradle and boot area from the GNETIK 8.0 for superior durability and pad rotation. The GNETIK Pure leg pads feature the original smart strap system with smart toe straps and smart boot strap for superior fit and feel as well as ease of use. The Knee cradle will have a 2” elastic knee strap with a lace-in removable knee flap for cross-knee strapping or knee to calf strapping for a more open feel.
The Brian’s GNETIK Pure leg pads have been altered to be a single outer break below the knee to provide more rigidity above the knee for a stronger 5-hole seal. A single break pad similar to that of the GNETIK Pro 3 leg pads has become increasingly more popular among today’s goaltenders who rely on a strong butterfly seal. For this reason, we at Pure Goalie have opted for a single break GNETIK Pure on the already softer feeling GNETIK series providing a good balance of soft and stiff designs. The boot angle on the GNETIK Pure leg pads is 80° to help goalies properly push and get the best possible attack angle.
