Untitled DocumentEdwardian Unworn Aunt Polly's Flexi-Welt Black Leather High Top Button Boots
This pair of antique Edwardian era unworn Aunt Polly's Flexi-Welt black leather high top button boots date from 1915. They are made of a black kid leather. These beautiful boots have bulbous rounded toes with decorative punch work designs, 12 black shoe buttons along the side for closure, stacked black wooden cube heels and are stamped on the bottom leather soles with the "Aunt Polly's Flexi-Welt Trade Mark" label which is also sewn inside the top of the boot. The boots measure 7 1/2 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 1 1/2 inch high heel. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot, but are approximately a US size 6 narrow width. They are in excellent unworn condition and come in an old shoe box covered with a wonderful spider web cobweb graphics foil paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey, (not original to the boots). These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art!
