Description
Universal sight pusher for removing or installing front and rear sights. If you ever experience an issue with our tool please let us know.
We stand behind our products!
Frame is steel with a 1/4" wall thickness and a bright Nickel finish.
We use a 3/8" thumb screw and 1/2" pusher bolt, compare to others using
smaller hardware.
Due to the four clamping block sets this tool works on most handguns with dovetail sights.
Includes:
Straight sided clamping blocks for all models of GLOCKS,Kahrs, 1911's etc..
Stepped clamping blocks for XD, XDM,XDS,Sig, M&P and other models with stepped slides.
Angled clamping blocks for models with angled/slanted slides.
Notched clamping blocks for Beretta/Taurus 92 and other models with slide safetys or decockers.
Directions
Determine if you need the angled side or the straight side of the pusher blade.
Use cleaning patches or cardboard to insulate the slide ( use a material that won`t let the slide twist in the tool.)
Install the slide and shim as needed with coins or washers, line up to push at the base of the sight.
Tighten thumb screw to secure the slide.
Do so by hand.
You might want to put a strip of tape between the pusher and the sight so the sight does not get marred.
Slowly turn the bolt head (not the nut) while checking for alignment.
Note: On very tight sights soak the slide/sight in gun oil or freeze the slide/sight over night.
Some stock sights are fitted so tightly that you should consider taking it to a gunsmith or shipping it back to the manufacturer for removal.
