This auction is for MARYLAND COAT OF ARMS SUBMARINE DOLPHINS - REGULATION SILVER.  This badge has the same dimensions of an official U.S. Navy Submarine Badge.  It has the Maryland State Coat of Arms affixed to the front center of the regulation submarine insignia.  There is a WG Hallmark on the back of the badge.  It has two clutch post pin for attachments.  This is a version of the U.S. Navy's submarine insignia could have been developed for submarine sailors from the State of Maryland or someone stationed on the USS MARYLAND SSBN-738.  It is not authorized to be worn on active duty Naval personnel uniforms.
