For your bidding consideration today, from a local estate auction of a long time shoe collector, we have a pair of pre civil war straight sole shoes. These shoes are made of leather, with the toe area having cut outs surrounded with embroidery, with silk underneath. The soles are made of leather and there is no left or right swing. The brown bow is present on both shoes. The interior is lined with what appears to be a heavy linen. They are in good condition for their age, there is some wear spots on the lining around the opening, some wear to the leather, but overall, they are good. These are small, and could have possibly been for a young girl. They are about 7 3/4” long, 1 3/4” wide. We will be adding more from this auction shortly.
