    Description

    An
    original
    pair of 1890 to 1900s black kid leather high boots w lace up closure. Inside stamped 430, which in my experience of 35 yrs of handling and selling antique and vintage shoes, this would be a size 3 with a D width. I believe it would be for a Youth Girl, possibly an early teen or a petite woman. Measures inside 9" outside toe to back of heel, 3" at the widest, 7" high at the back with the heel being 1" high. In overall very good condition; the leather is supple; very minimal signs of wear, the metal eyelets have some oxidizing. The soles are in very good gently worn condition. Truly a wonderful addition to any serious collection.
