This is a great little hammer. I’ve managed to get by for many years without having a soft face hammer. They always seemed not worth the money when I can just be extra careful with a regular steel faced hammer. I finally bit the bullet and bought this. I regret not buying one earlier now. This little hammer is great. The overall design is great. Feels really nice in the hand and functions well while in use. I also really like the open face plastic case that it comes with. I screwed it to the wall behind my workbench for convenient access. I do wonder how long the screw on face pieces will last and if I will be able to get replacements. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there I guess. Very happy with it currently. Would buy again
I finally broke down and ordered a brass hammer after driving roll pins with a small steel hammer for several years. Within the first 2 used I had the hammer slip and it was nice being able to scrub the brass mark off instead of having a dent. Heads are easy to switch and its a good size for precise work. I couldn't find anything even close locally.
If you work on your firemarms often, this tool is a must have. There will be many times when you need a smaller hammer to knock things out of and into place. This versatile tool comes with 4 detachable heads, and a handy pin tweezer. Excellent product!
