USS Hopewell DD-681 Destroyer, US Navy Photographs, Postcard & Welcome Booklet

Description

Listed is this collection of photographs and other memorabilia from the USS Hopewell.  The Hopewell was a Fletcher class destroyer that served between the years 1943 - 47 and 1951 - 70.  The collection includes two photographs of the ship underway and a postcard.  The postcard has spots where tape was affixed to the back.  Also included is a "welcome aboard" booklet that would have been given to new crewmen.  Booklet has a wealth of information on the ship, its history and how to navigate it as a newcomer.  Based on the information in the book it was probably issued around 1966-67.  Please check the pictures and contact me if you have any questions.
