All goalies know the history.
This is the pad design which revolutionized the position. The original butterfly pad.
Condition is "Pre-owned" lightly used.  We purchased these used years ago for my son as a temporary pad for AAA spring league. Custom Velo 2's were on order from Vaughn for his upcoming Fall season. Only used for about 8 weeks and have been in hiding since then. Most of these pads were used up years ago and its hard to find a pair in exceptional condition like these. Nice color combination in weave clarino which is very retro today. Great for the Man-Cave or the Beer League. Vaughn never matched this pad in shear performance. All the big names in the NHL wore Velo 1's back in the day. Not so much since or today. I see a lot of Brian's and CCM today.
Note I borrowed the straps for my velos over the years as mine broke. You will need to replace all the leather straps. Nylon straps are intact and full compliment of knee stacks and thigh boards still in place.
