Vintage # 21 1/2 Victor Shoulder Catch Long Spring Trap Newhouse

Description

The long spring trap offered here is a 1 1/2 size with high steel jaws and a double jaw welded inside the main jaws.  This was an Animal Trap Co replacement for the discontinued 91 1/2 cast double jaw trap previously made. The trap is somewhat scarce partially because few were made and also because the inner jaw frequently loosened and was lost. This trap in in very good used condition with strong spring, chain and ring and the pan reads very well.  This trap conforms to eBay protocol with jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches.
