    Description

Offered from the estate of a hunting item collector is this full antique bottle of E.J. Dailey Buck Lure. Dailey was an iconic Adirondack trapper specializing in the use of animal glands to lure his animals, or cover the scent of humans when hunting. The bottle reads:
"Buck Lure, Attractive to deer and overcomes human odor. Place a few drops on hunting clothing and soles of footwear, before each hunt. Compounded only by E.J. Dailey, Ogdensburg, N.Y."
I have not opened the bottle and do not know if it was ever opened. Condition is very good,  with some age patina and mild storage wear to legible label and some corrosion to black metal lid. Glass bottle was produced by
Hazel Atlas Glass Co., which manufactured glass in the Depression era
. I assume the lure is entirely useable, or would make a terrific collector item. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
