    Description

    This #3 size long spring trap was made in about 1910 in the Onedia Community factory at Oneida NY.  Traps with this marking were made for a brief period and are scarce.  This trap is in very nice condition with strong springs, complete chain and ring and a great patina.  The pan reads well.  The pan strike was slightly tilted so that the VICTOR at the top is lightly struck and the ONEIDA NY at the bottom is strongly struck.  This trap conforms to eBay specifications with jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches.
