  • Condition: This pair of vintage Goodyear Rubber black velvet fur trim winter carriage boots galoshes overshoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a black plush velveteen fabric, with a soft black fur trim edging down the front, around the tops and a Goodyear Rubber Co. stamped rubber bottom soles. These wonderful women's winter carriage snow boots have a galoshes overshoe style, with a flexible rubber bottom sole, heel to accommodate a high heeled shoe inside, are fully lined in a brown checkered flannel fabric inside, with the original black shoe string laces down the front for closure and are stamped "Goodyear Rubber Co." size 9 on the bottom soles. The boots measure 8 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and have a 3 inch high heel insert. They are in good as-is condition, have been gently worn, with the inside fabric lining stiff crunchy, the rubber soles are in excellent shape soft, supple with no cracks and the fur trim is shedding slightly (see close-ups).     This pair of vintage Goodyear Rubber black velvet fur trim winter carriage boots galoshes overshoes date from the 1920s. They are made of a black plush velveteen fabric, with a soft black fur trim edging down the front, around the tops and a Goodyear Rubber Co. stamped rubber bottom soles. These wonderful women's winter carriage snow boots have a galoshes overshoe style, with a flexible rubber bottom sole, heel to accommodate a high heeled shoe inside, are fully lined in a brown checkered flannel fabric inside, with the original black shoe string laces down the front for closure and are stamped "Goodyear Rubber Co." size 9 on the bottom soles.
