Vintage Hawley Norton Kenwood # 1 1/2 Long Spring Trap Newhouse

Hawley & Norton were a line of traps made by the Oneida Community that were a little lighter and less expensive than their Newhouse traps.  This 1 1/2 size Hawley Norton trap was made in their Kenwood NY factory in the 1890s .  The trap is in very nice condition with strong spring, a complete  light wire chain with Kenwood swivel and ring and a fairly well struck cast pan with Kenwood NY around the base especially well struck. The size numbering in the center of the pan is decent.  This trap conforms to eBay protocol with jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches.
