Vintage Ohrbach's Black Gold Lame Silk Brocade Wedge Mules Shoes Slippers
This pair of vintage Ohrbach's black gold lame silk brocade wedge mules shoes slippers date from the 1960s. They are made of a black and gold silk lame damask weave brocade fabric with a woven floral leaf design. These stylish slip-on mules slipper sandal shoes have an open toe, key hole opening with brass ring trim on the instep vamp fabric, open back, covered brocade fabric wedge heel, are lined in a gold vinyl with remnants of a "Ohrbach's" department store label and "All Man Made Materials" and size 6 1/2 M stamped on the bottom soles. The shoes measure 9 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 2 1/2 inch high heels. They have been gently worn, with some wear and slightly frayed pulls on the metallic threads (see close-ups). These are truly a beautiful piece of wearable shoe art!
