Description
Morse Oberto was a trapper who lived in Iron Belt WI and who in the 1950s developed and patented a dogless device that could be added to many different mid sized traps. He made several sizes of his dogless triggers and most were installed on Blake Lamb Co double undersprings but some were installed on a wide variety of different traps and this smaller # 300 size assembly was installed on a #3 Oneida Jump single underspring trap. This trap and trigger are in very good used condition. The pans are all lightly stamped but this pan has very little rust and is completely readable. The dogless trigger is further shown in the third photo. Trap is strong with chain and ring and has jaw spread less than 5 inches.
