Vintage Oneida Killum #1 Early Body Grip Trap Newhouse

The Oneida Killum traps were made beginning in 1912 and continued through 1934.  They were an early body grip trap that suffered from the same triggering problem other early body grippers had in that they were not easily tripped.  The earliest traps were made with a short dog that made the trap difficult to set which was later corrected by greatly lengthening the dog.  In the first photo I show a short dog early trap on the left and a later long dog trap on the right.  I am offering here ONLY the SHORT dog version in #1 size which has a 6 inch ring.  This trap is in very good condition and is  complete with chain and ring and has a very readable stamping that reads Oneida Killum #1 and other manufacturer and patent information. This trap complies with eBay protocols regarding teeth and jaw size.
