Vintage THE VICTOR #0 Long Spring Trap Antique Newhouse

This is the #0 size of THE VICTOR traps that were introduced in the 1880s. THE VICTOR traps first introduced the name Victor to the line of traps made by the Oneida Community and were distinguished by the heavy cast pan with pan and pan shank cast in a single piece that pivoted from the base(shown in last photo).This is a clean and solid original trap with strong spring, complete Kenwood chain and ring with tree spike. The pan was poorly struck and the VICTOR marking is all that is plainly readable.  This trap has jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches and meets eBay protocol.
