Vintage Unusual Pioneer #1 Stop Loss Trap Newhouse

Pioneer traps were made for a brief period in1979-81 for a company based in Lincoln City Oregon.  Many of the traps produced and sold by Pioneer were of advanced design but the uncommon trap offered here is not one of them.  This trap was made for Pioneer at a factory in Taiwan and the design follows a 1930s Animal Trap Co pattern called a "wire dog".  The trap offered here is in excellent condition with strong spring and complete chain and ring and the pan reads very well. This trap conforms to eBay policy that jaw spread may not exceed 5 1/2 inches.
