Unworn Edwardian Gunmetal Gray Cloth Black Leather Button Boots & Shoe Box
This pair of unworn antique Edwardian era gunmetal gray cloth, black leather button boots and shoe box date from 1910. They are made of dark gunmetal gray wool cloth fabric upper boot and smooth black matte leather lower shoe. These womens beautiful black boots have pointed toes, 16 black shoe buttons along the side for closure, black stacked wooden cube heels and are stamped inside from the "Lenox Boot Shop N.Y." label. They come in the original shoe box covered with a wonderful spider web cobweb graphics foil paper from "The Harris Shoe Store" in Dover, New Jersey and are stamped on the outside of the box a European size 38. The boots measure 9 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, with a 2 1/2 inch high heel and are approximately US size 7 1/2 or 8. They have never been worn, and are old store stock stored away in a basement of the store since 1910. The shoe box is in as-is condition with wear, water damage to the outer cardboard paper and the boots are in excellent wearable condition. These are truly a rare and wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art!
