Victorian Unworn Poehlman Shoe Co. Black Leather High Top Lace-up Boots
This pair of unworn antique Victorian era Poehlman Shoe Co. black leather high top lace-up boots date from 1900. They are made of a black leather with decorative punch work designs. These beautiful boots have pointed toes, the original black shoe string laces for closure and stacked wooden black French spool heels. They are stamped inside "The Poehlman Shoe Co. Syracuse, N.Y." label European size 34 and on the black bottom soles embossed "John S. Gray Syracuse, N.Y.". The boots measure 10 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 2 1/2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot and are approximately a US size 6 narrow width. They are old store stock, vintage deadstock, in unworn excellent wearable condition. These are truly a wonderful piece of quality made wearable shoe art!
